Originally stopped by the Dennys across the way and was baffled by the lines. My friends and I saw jacks and felt drawn to it. Once we got there I was very happy. Amazing atmosphere, amazing employees and amazing food. I'm definitely making this place a must every time I come through reno.

They are fast! Even though there were only a few tables available, they were still fast! After we ordered, our food was out in literally 5 mins! The home fries were great! (Maybe a little under salted for some, but I'd rather that than too much.) I had corned beef hash...not that it is, and only for illustration purposes, it's the canned type. Not the shredded type. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, like their home fries. Thanks guys! It was perfect!

Staff is wonderful, the food is great however the price seemed high for a cafe in a questionable neighborhood....the lean fruit with chicken was spectacular as was open faced turkey sandwich but a bit too much salt. Krystal the waitress is always helpful to our large group in the back room she deserves 10 stars...

Anything you order will be the best thing you have eaten! Their menu is huge and their food is ALWAYS consistently delicious and fresh! This is a local favorite that some lucky tourist have also found. There are 3 locations; but I am partial to this one. All the same food and even the same derive staff will change locations so you are in good hands always with Jacks! My Auntie Melva and Uncle Phil have been going here for years and have also introduced us to this amazing restaurant and love to return time and time again. East to find location. Plenty of safe and free parking. There are always seating and plenty of ADA seats as well

Some of the recent reviews almost turned me off from this place but I'm glad we came. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The portions are gigantic. The breakfast burrito was phenomenal. The chef salad was huge and delicious. Kids meals were good, kids scarfed those down.

Ok.... This is gonna be long winded ... So we chose to go here and man, this place did not disappoint. The food is bomb... Absolutely perfect. Everything was cooked to order exactly how it was ordered....huge plus. Now about the service.... Marianna is the best....service was prompt and welcoming. She didn't rush us at all and didn't bother us during our meal with the "is everything alright"?, or serve us the check till we were done with our meal. I hate being bothered during my meal...i was so happy we went on a whim, 8.8/10 a-freaking-mazing. Please dont sleep on this place....great comfortable food and service.

After passing on 2 other spots because of the lines, we happened upon this place, and I'm so glad we found Jack's. The waitress was attentive. Another waitress did nothing but refills, so we never had less than a half cup of coffee. We'd barely ordered and the food arrived. Everything was very good. My husband's favorite was the gravy on the biscuits and gravy. If we ever visit Reno again, THIS is the place we'll make sure to go to again.
